I have just put it 2 of these tires on my 2001 Camry. I like how it handles and brakes. The ride quality seems to be a bit better than the previous Sentury Touring tires I had. I will update later on the treadwear and durability of the tire. So far so good. Recommended.
I purchased the car used with Michelin Defender high mileage tires, including previous owner and my mileage, I got 90k miles out of the Michelins. However they rode hard over pavement irregularities and I was not impressed with wet weather traction. I'm an independent courier and drive my personal car for work, 65k plus miles a year. The Extensas IIs are a much better ride, and much better in wet weather and light winter conditions. They are also a more quiet ride than the previous tire. For a courier a comfortable, quiet ride greatly improves work. I ran the original Extensa on my previous cars and enjoyed them as well, and these AS IIs are even better in heavy rain. I cannot vouch for mileage warranty on these yet, however the original Extensa AS tires got me every mile they promised and then some. I'm a Toyo die hard now. I replaced the Michelins on my 4x4 SUV years ago, and like the ones on my sedan, they lasted forever, but off road were a letdown. Open Country AT IIs, and the mountain top is the limit literally.
I liked them so much that I bought the very same tires to replace the other ones that just reached their end of life.
CAR: 2008-ACURA TSX I'M AN EXTREME FUSS-POT AND AFTER RESEARCHING OPTIONS FOR MY TSX-IT CAME DOWN TO YOKOHAMA VS TOYO'S. I HAVE 7-CARS AND HAVE TOYO'S AND YOKOHAMA'S ON OTHERS. ALL HAVE BEEN EXCELLENT. MY FIRST CRITERIA IS APPEARANCE, THEN NOISE. EVERYTHING ELSE IS DOWNHILL FOR ME. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE DESIGN-LOOK OF THESE TIRES. THEY LOOK LIKE A RACING TIRE THE WAY THE TOYO NAME AND INFO IS DESIGNED-DISPLAYED. NICE AND QUIET; BRAKING, HANDLING, CORERING, STABILITY IS EXCELLENT. I DID HAVE TROUBLE FINDING STOCK. GIGA WAS MY DEALER. COST WAS SUPER REASONABLE. TRUST IN JAPAN INC. THEY KNOW HOW TO DESIGN AND MANUF. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. THANK U TOYO.
I bought a set of 225/45R17 and 245/40R17 for my BMW F20 instead of OEM Bridgestone. The first thing that I noticed is the ride confort. The car comes with Run Flat Tires, so the ride is not smoot!!! The Toyos have a good grip even better than the Bridgestone Potenzas S001, but the treadwear is not as good as Bridgestones I drove for 35.000km, but in the end both are sport tires, don't spect drive long. I'm in Costa Rica
I have had Michelin Super Sport & Michelin 4S. The grip better in the dry & wet the the Michelin. In the max performance category they are the best tires. Very smooth & quiet. I highly recommend
I have had great success with Toyo brand tires in the past. This is the first time that I have tried the Celsius style. So far so good. Great value an they drive really nice and quiet.
I have to say I research these before I bought them. I am an Uber driver and was looking for a tire for all weather use. I have used these through two winters and have no problems getting around at all. I've had customers tell me other Ubers got stuck on their street while I drove right through with no problems. I am currently getting ready to put the same type of tires on my newer car Toyota Camry. I suggest these tires to anyone and everyone for all your driving these are excellent tires.
