OTHER TIRES TO CONSIDER

Best Commercial Tire Period

These are easily the best commercial truck tire, and doubly so for anyone with a dually. As many have pointed out, they're not your standard A/T or "commercial grade" tire. They make no compromises, they're loud and drive better at higher pressure, are't designed for the typical BroDozer who insistently run larger tires; let alone a cheapskate lift kit. They will let you know if you have a worn front suspension, choosing to ignore that is an operator error. But on my truck after switching immediately from the trash Firestoned A/T 2 set on it when I bought it I've yet to encounter a scenario where I've needed to use 4x4 although on damp/delicate surfaces i.e. Lawn on a jobsite it's not a bad idea as they'll start digging instantly and aggressively until they find adequate traction to move forward. Pulled my rear axle out of my ditch in rwd to learn that valuable lesson. 10k miles on them so far and still look brand new. Hauling a 4K lb dump trailer with 7-10k lbs for 75% of the mileage has solidified my opinion that barring any anomalous disaster this set of 6 will go for another 60k miles easily. They aren't for the faint of heart or someone unwilling to keep their vehicle at DOT standards, but I digress. If you want the best commercial Light Truck tire, buy a set of these. If you like flats and slow sidewall leaks and anomalous catastrophic failure, keep buying wranglers and discoverers.

Best Pickup Tire.. Period

I have 197K miles on my 2012 Ram 2500 4x4 (Cummins and 6 speed manual) The OEM Firestone Transforce H/T are a 10 ply rated tire and in 3 weeks of driving off road deer hunting in western Oregon I had 4 flats, with the last one destrying the tire. At 22K miles I swapped to my first set of Toyo M55s in 265/70R-17 and they lasted till about 95K miles with no flats. They were down to a very thin tread in the middle when I swapped them out for another set of M55s, but this time in 285/70R-17. They lasted till about 165K miles and the only issue I ever had with them was they were squirmy till some of the tread wore down (about 20K miles). I put another set of the 285/17R-17's on it and again the only issue I had was the squirmy feel till some tread had worn down. I figure I'll have another 3 or 4 sets of these tires on my pickup before I wear it out.

First Off-Road Set Of Tires And Are Amazing 235/65R18

Bought the 2021 Toyota RAV4 TRD Off-Road, switched the tires from the Fallen Wildpeak of 225/60R18. These tires are very quiet and comfortable. I just wanted a much thicker tire and a higher ride height. I bought the ATIII of 235/65R18. The ride quality is much more different, in a good way. The tires grip the road much more and ride much more comfortably! When the road is smooth, the ride is like butter. When the road looks like garbage, you feel every bit. Not complaining though. You do feel how much these tires soak up in terms of cushioning and it feels much more planted, much more stable and the road presence is great! My fuel economy did drop significantly but that was expected. Instead of 32 per highway Im getting about 26 on the dot. *ALSO THEY BALANCE AMAZINGLY* *THESE TIRES ARE GREAT AND WOULD RECOMMEND THEM!* Also the size listed above fits a 2021 Toyota RAV4 with a 2.5" lift kit. There is slight rubbing when at full turn both ways, nothing actually impacting or damaging. But that is expected until trimming is finished. So far Ive got about 1100 miles on these tires and I can't complain. This is exactly what I wanted and researched and its what I got. An overall great tire on the road, Offroad and all in between. I specifically wanted a heavier tire with a thicker ply for highway trash and offroad rocks. Also Toyo Tires, Im not afraid to put my vehicle somewhere it may or may not belong. If you would like me to sample different possible production versions offroad and on road please contact me.

Big Improvement!

I replaced the stock Dunlop grand trek tires that came on my 2019 4Runner trd off road with these toyo open country tires. What a huge difference! Really great ride, very quiet, great in the rain and snow and balanced perfectly. No issues whatsoever. I did a ton of research for the best tires to put on my Toyota and these were a very good decision! I would definitely recommend!

Great Performance!

My first "highway tire" on this vehicle. I love the quiet and smooth performance at 70-80 mph. At 20,000 miles they show little wear.

Pleasantly Surprised Former Mich**** Customer

I've been a Mich**** fan my entire half-century life, but became disillusioned with their value in recent years. so I bought these tires for my pickup. It helps that all the guys at my independent local dealer have them on their trucks and their sons' trucks, etc. That's good enough for me. I've run these now for almost a year, and am VERY pleased. They are smooth, quiet, sticky, and look nice too. I'm about to put a set on my daughter's CR-V.

Love The M/T

modified my jeep with 35x12.5x20's these Toyo M/T handle great, look awesome and am very impressed with the way they've held up. 55k and going. definitely will replace with them again my previous jeep had them as well - same experience!!!

Excellent Mud/Rocks/Street Tire

I bought these tires (37-13.50-R17) hoping for the best. I knew when the tire shop balanced them they were going to be great. It took very minimal weight to balance them. The guy said they were as round as a Michelin street tire. They are awesome! I rotate every 3000-3500 miles. I have 25K miles on them and they look great. No doubt I'll get 60K+ out of them. I use my truck for daily driving, work and off road. They worked flawlessly on the trails at Uwharrie National Forest and others. You will not be disappointed!
