TORC AMSOIL CUP WINNER!

Kyle LeDuc Takes Home TORC World Championship Ring and the 2014 AMSOIL Cup in Crandon

Team Toyo Off-Road driver, Kyle LeDuc, scored back-to-back victories this weekend at Crandon; taking home both the TORC (The Off-Road Championship) series World Championship Ring and the sport’s top prize, the AMSOIL Cup.  Equipped with Toyo Open Country M/T-R tires, LeDuc’s 900+ horsepower truck beat out TORC series regulars for wins in the TORC World Championship Off-Road Races, and the AMSOIL Cup which combined PRO 2WD and PRO 4WD truck classes for an all-out showdown.

The Labor Day weekend event at Crandon Off-Road International Raceway, entitled The Keys to the Big House, marked the final race weekend of the TORC racing season.

“We came, we raced, we conquered,” said LeDuc. “Toyo and Team LeDuc were untouchable all weekend… World Champions and AMSOIL Cup winners.”

“A big congratulations to Kyle LeDuc for winning the TORC championship ring and the AMSOIL Cup this weekend,” said Stan Chen, manager of events and motorsports, Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. “Weekend after weekend he proves what an amazing racer he is, while demonstrating the durability and performance of our Open Country M/T-R tires.”

Team Toyo’s Scott Douglas, driving his #7 AMSOIL / Borla Exhaust / Walker Evans Racing / Toyo Tires Ford F-150; captured Third Overall in the PRO 4WD class championship. He finished only four points out of second place, making for a great run during the 2014 TORC season.
